The position at a glance We are looking for a savvy and enthusiastic Communications and Social Media Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. You will be responsible for supporting the team\xe2\x80\x99s corporate communications, executing on social media campaigns, managing the day-to-day social media content and the reporting of our results.
In detail The successful candidate will be an excellent writer and someone who can adapt their work to various audiences and occasions easily. You will both execute existing strategy and participate in the creation of new campaigns, internal as well as external, and should be comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders. You will have facility with analytics, be able to understand social media metrics, and be able to draw narrative conclusions from the data to inform our content strategy. This is a role with growth potential as you will have exposure to all facets of the organization and the opportunity to learn not only the roles and operations within the Marketing and Communications department, but across the bank as a whole. Intelligence, agility, and curiosity are the traits most important to success.
Responsibilities include:

  • Writing and editing corporate communications.
  • Publishing social media posts to the company\xe2\x80\x99s platforms.
  • Developing social media content plans around specific events, initiatives, and publications in collaboration with the internal communications, events, and press teams.
  • Using analytical tools, both third-party and in-house, to monitor and evaluate performance and preparing monthly reports on that performance.
  • Staying current on corporate communications and social media best practices, trends, and changes to the platforms on which we operate.



The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent obtained within the last 12 months.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • You don\xe2\x80\x99t need to be a math major, but you will need a level of facility with numbers and the ability to manipulate data.
  • Strong ability to problem solve and work independently and, more importantly, the desire to do both.
  • Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Experience with community management for social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) is a significant plus.
