Superior Hearing Centre is a locally owned hearing clinic that is dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with hearing loss through compassionate care, advanced technology, and community outreach. We are looking for a motivated and personable
Audiology Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA)
to join our team and support our audiologists in delivering exceptional hearing care services.
Provide community hearing services, including: Hearing aid support and cleaning at long-term care (LTC) and assisted living facilities
Off-site hearing screenings
Troubleshoot hearing aids in the clinic, performing basic repairs, listening checks, and Bluetooth pairings
Conduct home visits to set up assistive listening devices (ALDs) and provide follow-up support
Offer patient counselling and hands-on assistance with earmold and hearing aid insertion, as well as Bluetooth and ALD use
Conduct occupational hearing screenings
Assist in the pre-fitting of hearing devices and assistive devices
Provide minor administrative support, including answering phones and assisting walk-in patients
Maintain infection control standards and sanitize equipment/tools
Manage clinic supply orders and inventory
Provide FM system support for local school boards
Represent Superior Hearing Centre at community events (e.g., Hangar Walkers)
Completion of a
Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA) diploma
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Motivated, professional, and passionate about assisting those with hearing loss
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
