COMMON AREA ATTENDANT - CALEDON (ALTON), ON



The

Common Area Attendant

is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and sanitation in various public areas within a facility, such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces. This role is crucial in creating a positive and welcoming environment for residents, guests, or visitors.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:



Embracing and Living our Common Purpose and Core Values. Perform routine cleaning tasks in public areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently. Maintain the cleanliness of floors by regularly vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping, and address any spills promptly. Clean and sanitize public restrooms regularly, replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Responsible for multiple areas throughout the property including common areas, washrooms, restaurant and event space, pro shop and back of house employee areas. Additional requirements of the role may include cleaning of guest suites from time to time as directed by Housekeeping Manager Respond to guest requests called in from the Concierge team. Deliver products to guest rooms as required. Interact with guests in a warm and friendly manner. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe and hazard-free environment for all occupants. Monitor and report any maintenance issues or supply shortages. Utilize large cleaning equipment such as floor polishers, industrial cleaning equipment to maintain facilities.

Qualifications:



Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred. Ability to follow cleaning protocols and use cleaning equipment effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift/move equipment and supplies. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines. This role typically involves working indoors in various public spaces. The schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays and overnights as required. Valid Driver's license required.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
