Prepare special meals for children, seniors, and dietary requests when needed.
2. Menu Planning and Development
Create and update menus that appeal to families, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
Suggest daily specials and new dishes to attract repeat customers.
Control food portions and reduce waste while maintaining quality.
3. Kitchen Supervision
Oversee and train kitchen helpers, cooks, and dishwashing staff.
Assign daily duties and make sure all kitchen operations run smoothly.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
4. Food Safety and Hygiene
Follow all health and safety regulations as per local food standards.
Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO method).
Keep cooking equipment, utensils, and work surfaces sanitized.
5. Inventory and Cost Control
Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies.
Check all deliveries for quality and freshness.
Manage food costs efficiently without compromising quality.
6. Customer Service and Quality
Ensure dishes are served hot, on time, and in proper presentation.
Handle customer feedback and make quick adjustments to meet expectations.
Support front-of-house staff during busy hours to ensure smooth service.
