Job Description

Oil company has a Truck driver position available. We're looking for someone who is easy to get along with and reliable.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 year driving experience, Class 3 or better

- Minimum Air brake certificate (Q Endorsement) with good driver's abstract
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong communication skills

- Driver to assist with forklift in loading truck

- No previous or existing criminal record

- Good character.

Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes , etc

- Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transportation

- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and record information (if necessary) on computers (ELD where necessary)
