POSITION OVERVIEW: Paisley Partners is looking for talent in the insurance industry! We are currently accepting applications for those who want to grow or continue a career within commercial insurance in a client-facing role to develop and expand your commercial insurance expertise. Working with a team of experienced brokers, the successful candidate will be responsible for the input of new business and renewal documents, servicing clients, and other duties as assigned on a growing book of business.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Service an existing book averaging 20-30 renewals per month as well as new business growth
  • Invoice clients and assist Account Executives in collection of receivables
  • Issue certificates, binders, liability slips, and other documentation as required
  • Review renewals to verify that policy documents are accurate and contain appropriate coverage, in conjunction with Account Executives where required
  • Make risk management recommendations to clients
  • Work with central Marketing team for accounts that require remarket
  • Inform and educate clients about policy coverages, changes, exclusions, and various other inquiries
  • Update policy profiles in Epic to accurately reflect policy changes and renewals as outlined in the Commercial Lines Workflow Manual
  • Assist Account Executives in managing non-renewals and cancellations to retain business where appropriate
  • Maintain good relationships with carriers/MGAs to negotiate and obtain quotes, endorsements etc.
  • Keep up to date with insurance products and industry standards to provide excellent customer service
  • Resolve client inquiries
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3+ years commercial insurance experience preferred
  • R.I.B.O. required. C.I.P. designation &/or C.A.I.B desired or at minimum working towards the designation (s)
  • Experience in a sales or service environment preferred
  • Client development/relationship management experience in commercial lines desired
  • Strong negotiation skills and professional attitude
  • University / college degree desired
  • Superb interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter with strong communication & organizational skills
  • Skills in EPIC, Outlook, Word, Excel
