About The Role

HUB continues to grow and is seeking a dynamic Commercial Account Manager to join our Real Estate team in the Toronto Area. In this role, you will manage an assigned book of business and ensure client satisfaction. This is an ideal role for a strong team player who is detailed oriented and enjoys working with people. A commitment to delivering results on required deadlines.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do

  • Identify exposures, establish a suitable solution, and help the client to understand which product is the best fit for their needs
  • Create marketing requirements and marketing strategies for an assigned book of business (Both renewals & new business)
  • Be a consummate professional by providing timely client service including inquiries on matters such as exposure, invoicing, reporting of claims, audits, etc.
  • Ensure client files are maintained in Broker Management System (EPIC) in accordance with HUB\xe2\x80\x99s standard policies and procedures
  • Maintain positive, long-term relationships with clients, company representatives, and HUB team members
What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need for Success
  • Valid RIBO license, or willingness to obtain in short order
  • Typically, 5+ years of Commercial Insurance Industry and product line experience
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to deliver positive customer experiences
  • Professional communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter and strong team player able to work within Production and Service teams
  • Effective organizational skills and time management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word and Excel).
  • Ability to learn and understand new systems quickly; EPIC fluency is an asset.
  • Currently holding or working towards insurance designation such as CIP, CAIB, etc. is an asset
