Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced

Construction Project Manager

to lead and oversee

commercial landscaping construction projects

from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple projects, accurately estimate costs, read and interpret site plans, and perform layout on job sites. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential. This position requires the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

Plan, schedule, and manage the execution of commercial landscaping projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

Estimating & Budgeting:

Prepare accurate estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Assist in budgeting and cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

Plan Reading & Layout:

Read and interpret site plans, landscape architecture drawings, and civil construction documents. Perform layout on-site to guide crews and ensure work aligns with plans.

Team Leadership:

Coordinate with in-house crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. Provide clear direction, support, and supervision to ensure smooth daily operations.

Communication:

Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, architects, and vendors. Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact timelines or quality.

Problem Solving:

Tackle challenges on-site with practical and timely solutions, maintaining project momentum and quality standards.

Quality & Compliance:

Ensure all work meets company standards, client expectations, local codes, and safety regulations. Conduct site inspections and quality control checks regularly.

Time Management:

Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing

commercial landscaping or site construction

projects. Ability to accurately estimate landscaping scopes including grading, hardscape, irrigation, planting, and soil work. Strong skills in reading and interpreting site plans and construction documents. Proficiency in layout and job site preparation. Excellent multitasking, organizational, and leadership skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Comfortable working in dynamic outdoor job sites in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in commercial landscape construction project management. Knowledge of commercial landscape materials, equipment, and installation techniques. Background in landscape architecture, civil construction, or horticulture is a plus.
