Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Fit and assemble structural components according to specifications using hand tools and power tools
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit specific requirements
- Fabricate components as needed - Drive team & equipment to different job sites daily
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout and assembly of structural components
- Build, plumb, and align structures to ensure proper fit and function
- Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions
- Rig and move heavy materials or equipment as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ability to lead a team of 2 or more techs

Requirements:

-Min 3 years insured with full G drivers license with clean abstract -Min 2 years installation experience with hand tools, power tools, and other equipment used in fitting work is mandatory
- Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role preferred - Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Ability to fabricate, build, and assemble structural components accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience installing wall shelves, wall cladding preferred
- Experience working with stainless steel a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods - Comfortable working on different construction sites
- Must be able to work early weekday hours & occasional night or weekend shifts
- Must be reliable & punctual
- Must have respectful customer oriented skills when dealing with clients
- Ability to receive instructions & execute them in a timely manner is required - Must have CSA approved safety boots, safety hard hat -Candidates with WHIMIS, 4 Steps Safety & Awareness certification, Working at Heights certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
