At Delta Sierra Construction, we are looking for a motivated Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will be solely responsible for delivering complex projects on time and on budget.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is a proactive leader, thrives on organization, loves challenges and working with people, and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Objectives:



Preconstruction



Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to confirm scope, identify gaps, and flag risks early. Develop the preliminary schedule, budget, and procurement plan, highlighting long-lead items and key milestones. Coordinate with estimators, subcontractors, and suppliers to confirm pricing, scopes, and inclusions. Set up project folders, checklists, and templates in Buildertrend to organize all preconstruction documentation. Lead internal and client meetings to review budgets, schedules, and expectations before project launch.

Manage Active Construction



Oversee daily progress, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, scope, and schedule. Manage budgets and cost controls, monitoring actual costs against forecasts and identifying and correcting variances early. Coordinate site activities with the superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain quality, safety, and timelines. Lead weekly project meetings to review schedules, upcoming milestones, and change orders. Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.

Project Wrap-Up and Closeout



Oversee final inspections, deficiency lists, and completion of outstanding work. Coordinate collection of all closeout documents, including warranties, as-builts, permits and O&M manuals. Confirm all billings, change orders, and payments are finalized and reconciled with accounting. Lead post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and update internal templates and processes. Ensure a professional project handoff to the client, confirming satisfaction and completion of all deliverables.

Skills and Qualifications



Experience



Minimum 3+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Strong understanding of construction methods, contract administration, and project delivery processes. Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Technical Expertise



Skilled in reviewing drawings, performing takeoffs, and supporting estimating and procurement activities. Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil drawings with attention to detail and constructability. Experienced in coordinating subcontractors, managing change orders, and tracking project progress. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, develop solutions, and find cost-saving opportunities.

Software



Proficient with construction management and estimating platforms such as Buildertrend, JobTread, Procore, or Microsoft Project. Comfortable using spreadsheets and reporting tools to manage budgets, schedules, and progress updates

Organization and Detail Orientation



Highly organized and methodical, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Strong attention to detail, ensuring documentation, schedules, and budgets are accurate and up to date.

Communication and Collaboration



Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident working directly with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to maintain alignment and resolve challenges.

Initiative and Work Ethic



Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Committed to continuous improvement and contributing to overall company success

Education



Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred Equivalent experience will be considered

Annual Salary:

Starting at $90k. Salary will depend on experience.
