Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and professionalism in various environments, including commercial spaces and facilities in and around Saskatoon. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate cleaning staff to ensure high standards are met. Conduct inspections to verify that all cleaning tasks are completed to company standards, identifying areas needing attention or maintenance. Stock and track consumables at job sites as required. Train new employees and provide ongoing support and guidance. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions. Follow established safety procedures while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure overall cleanliness and organization of the facility. Schedule has flexibility but must be available evenings/weekends and some days.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with proper handling techniques. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and management effectively. Must be physically fit, able to lift up to 23kg. Must be bondable. Must have a valid driver's licence and have a reliable vehicle.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $18.39-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
