Responsibilities

Evaluate damaged vehicles and prepare accurate repair estimates based on industry standards. Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and repair options. Collaborate with repair and refinish technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for in the estimate. Utilize knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair processes to provide comprehensive assessments. Maintain detailed records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions. Upsell additional services as appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase shop revenue. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in auto body repair and estimating.

Skills

collision repair estimating experience preferred for familiarity with body shop operations. Strong background in auto service management and upselling techniques. Proficiency in auto estimating, sales, service writing, and automotive service processes. Familiarity with auto body repair processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions efficiently.
