About the Role

We are looking for a customer-focused, results-driven

In-Store Collections Specialist

to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and helping us reduce store-level delinquency. This position plays a key role in protecting our business while supporting our customers through difficult financial situations.

Please note: This is an in-person position and is not eligible for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively contact customers with overdue loans via phone, text, email, or in person. Negotiate payment arrangements that align with company policies and customer circumstances. Accurately document all collection activity and communication in our system. Assist with in-store operations including loan processing and customer service when required. Work with store leadership to identify and prioritize high-risk or non-responsive accounts. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, company policies, and privacy standards. Monitor individual and store-level collection performance, aiming to exceed targets.

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and negotiation skills. A customer-first attitude with the ability to handle sensitive financial discussions professionally. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills. Previous experience in collections, customer service, or financial services is a strong asset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable using technology and internal software systems.
