Responsibilities:

Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) and assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts (outbound and inbound calls) Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications:

3rd party collections experience considered an asset*
Customer service and call centre experience considered an asset*
Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented Sound decision making and judgement Strong organizational skills Dedicated and ethical Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment Solid computer skills Strong grasp of the English language Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check

Requirements:


To meet provincial licensing requirements, candidates holding a Work Permit must ensure it has at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of application. + Proof of validity must be provided at the interview stage.
