What the Role Involves





As a Collections Officer, you will:




Speak with consumers who've missed payments--some recently, some long-term Establish contact through inbound and outbound calls Work within clear policy and process to offer fair and firm solutions Negotiate payment arrangements in accordance with client and company guidelines Investigate and advise on payment plans and settlement options Serve as the contact/liaison for your assigned account portfolio Document calls accurately and meet compliance standards Manage each call with confidence, an empathetic ear, and clear boundaries Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by treating every consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity, and respect.



What You Bring





We're looking for individuals who are:



Strong communicators with excellent verbal and written skills Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and detail-focused Ethical and professional in all interactions Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced team environment Proficient with computers and fluent in English




Experience in collections, customer service, or call centres is a bonus--but not required. If you're eager to learn, grow, and make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

Conditions of Employment




To meet provincial licensing requirements,

you must

have a work permit (at least 6 months of validity remaining at time of application), permanent residency, or be a Canadian Citizen. Be available for full-time work.
