Responsibilities:
• Establish contact with consumers (by telephone) and assist with the resolution of delinquent accounts (outbound and inbound calls)
• Negotiate payment of debts in accordance with client and company guidelines
• Investigate and advise on different forms of payment and/or settlement options
• Clearly document/update files on the system to support file activity
• Uphold the CCA Code of Conduct by ethically treating each consumer with integrity, honesty, dignity and respect at all times
Qualifications:
• 3rd party collections experience considered an •asset•
• Customer service and call centre experience considered an •asset•
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Self-motivated, goal and detail oriented
• Sound decision making and judgement
• Strong organizational skills
• Dedicated and ethical
• Ability to work individually and with a team in a fast paced environment
• Solid computer skills
• Strong grasp of the English language
• Successful candidates will be subject to a criminal record check
Requirements:
To meet provincial licensing requirements, candidates holding a Work Permit must ensure it has at least 6 months of validity remaining at the time of application
