Job Description

As a Collections Manager, you will lead a team overseeing collections activities across multiple business lines. Your goal will be to collaborate with customers and stakeholders to resolve outstanding accounts efficiently while upholding exceptional customer service standards. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive timely resolutions and maintain strong relationships that support overall business performance.

Your Responsibilities:


Lead all collections functions, including invoice follow-up, dispute resolution, and cash application support
Develop and implement collection strategies with cross-functional teams to meet targets and reduce risk
Promote understanding of credit and collections policies, providing interpretation and clarification as needed
Monitor accounts receivable across portfolios to ensure timely collections and optimal resource allocation
Build and manage relationships across the business to proactively resolve issues
Collaborate with other collections teams to maintain seamless operations
Drive continuous process improvements to boost efficiency and effectiveness
Partner with IT and Support teams to execute new feature initiatives
Prepare and present reporting and analysis to key stakeholders


Your Skills:


Build strong relationships and deliver exceptional customer service across diverse interactions
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving by anticipating issues and crafting effective mitigation strategies
Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders through strong written and verbal skills
Balance multiple priorities while managing cross-functional stakeholder expectations
Apply analytical thinking and attention to detail to support financial risk management and sound decision-making
Embrace continuous improvement and leverage technical aptitude to enhance processes and outcomes.


Your Experience:


Possess post-secondary education in Business Administration or Finance, with 3+ years of leadership experience and a background in credit management
Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, advanced Excel) and experienced with AR tools like JDE, ADDs Energy, Credit Manager, and Sage
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; bilingualism is considered an asset
