We are recruiting a
Billing and Collections
to join our Finance/Accounting department.
Overseeing entire billing and accounts receivable cycle
Managing billing process and the team of Billing Coordinators
Resolving complex billing issues
Coordinating with Lawyers and Legal Assistants on matters related to their billings
Ensuring accurate and timely invoices submission
Ensuring compliance with firm's billing policies
Compiling billing data and metrics into billing reports
Ensuring prompt payment collections
Managing collections process and the team of Collection Coordinators
Coordinating with clients on escalated client issues, billed amounts and receivables
Following up with clients for payments, including sending payment reminders
Monitoring and reporting overdue accounts and short payments
Supporting the Accounting team on clarifications related to amounts collected against various bills
Compiling collections data, trends and metrics into collections reports
Supervise, mentor and train billing and collections staff and monitor their work
Setting performance goals for billing and collections teams/coordinators
Review and implement improvements in billing and collections processes to enhance accuracy and speed
Coordinating with IT and Senior Manager to streamline processes
What you'll bring:
Education & Experience:
Professional designation in accounting or finance an asset
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role, leading a team of finance professionals
Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel
This positions is a full time in office position.
