TITLE: Coffee Shop Attendant DEPARTMENT: Food Services REPORTS TO: Coffee Shop Supervisor Tollendale Village Simcoe County Christian Seniors Home Inc. (SCCSHI) operates Tollendale Village which is an independent living Christian retirement community that provides accommodation for self-reliant seniors. Mission of Tollendale Village Retirement Community: To provide self-reliant seniors with a residential setting and the opportunity to participate in community life in an environment that is guided by Christian values and principles. Coffee Shop Attendant Prepare and serve food to customers
Part-time hours: 7-15 per week Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour Benefits:
- Operate cash register and balance money at the end of the shift
- Clean up dishes, kitchen and eating area throughout and at end of shift
- Ensure safe food handling guidelines are followed
- Maintain adequate inventory of food and other supplies
- Ensure good working order of all equipment
- Promote a positive relationship between Mill Creek Care Centre and Tollendale Village
- Coffee Socials including set/up and tear/down
- Catering Events as requested
- SMDHU Safe food handling course required
- At least 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 previous food services experience
- Excellent customer services skills
- Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- Ability to work independently
- Monday to Friday hours to be determined
