Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer(On Contract) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC technology, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Develop and optimize CNC programs for lathes and milling machines using CAD software(Catia V5 & Vericut). Set up and operate CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in all produced parts. Utilize hand tools for assembly and fabrication tasks as needed. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Apply basic math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and other specifications. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately program machines. Use Mazatrol programming language for specific machining tasks when required. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.

Experience

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in programming CNC machines. Familiarity with CAD software(Catia V5 & Vericut) for designing parts and components. Experience with welding techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
