Berminghammer Foundation Equipment (SB Canada) is currently seeking:

A CNC Programmer. Reporting to the Machine Shop Supervisor. The Employee is required to perform the duties as outlined.

Key Responsibilities:

Using engineered drawings and solid models to determine the order of operations and routing of parts to be machined Selecting the proper processes, tools and equipment for the task Creating and editing g-code programs in Mastercam for a variety of CNC machines including Lathes with live tooling, Vertical Machining Centres and Horizonal Boring Mills Creating set up sheets and instructions to accompany programs Maintaining and streamlining the library of existing programs Making edits to conform with new drawing revisions or to improve process efficiency. Maintaining and standardizing tool libraries Working collaboratively with machinists to assist on the shop floor, this may include proving programs and running first-offs. Receiving feedback to improve processes. Meeting production deadlines. Working under minimal supervision Adhering to safe work procedures

Qualifications:

Strong CNC machining background on a variety of equipment (+10 years) Expert level Mastercam skills including multi-axis programming. (+5 years) Experience programming for both lathes and mills. Experience with large/heavy workpieces (>1 ton) Ability to adapt to new situations and solve problems Ability to follow written instructions Positive attitude with strong work ethics, open mindedness. Experience with Heidenhain control is an asset Red Seal Certification of Qualifications an asset

Pay Range: $37-42 hourly

Work Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00-3:00pm May be applicable to change.

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour
