Laser Metal Profiles Ltd is a state- of- the - art facility that specializes in Laser Cutting, Plasma Oxy-fuel Cutting, Forming, Machining and Welding (CWB Certified).

LMP LTD is seeking qualified candidates for our CNC Programmer role with a desire and passion to grow with a company and create a long term career.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and Prioritize orders according to the production schedule Review PO's, drawings and CAD files to ensure order accuracy Use Lantek (nesting and inventory software) to transfer customer drawing to CAD or create new drawings in CAD if necessary Verify inventory on-hand is available to complete the job Monitor and verify the inventory stock including the remnant material from previous jobs on a regular basis Create nesting programs for the laser and plasma/oxy cutting machines Ensure QIR and Work orders are completed and accurate before going to the floor Consult with customers for any clarification needed on drawings and/or special requests Communicate closely with the team leads, shop supervisors, and sales team when any issues arise

Qualifications

AutoCAD and CNC Programming knowledge (steel industry an asset) Organized with a strong attention to detail and time management Ability to read Blueprints Excellent math skills Knowledge of measuring tools such as, verniers, tape measures, and other devices (an asset) Knowledge of ISO 9001 Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to problem solve and make critical decisions
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.61-$42.05 per hour
