Muller Expo Services International is seeking an experienced
CNC Programmer
to join our growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience programming
kitchen cabinet components or custom millwork projects
, along with a strong understanding of CNC machining processes. In this role, you will develop, refine, and optimize CNC programs to support efficient, high-precision production for our cabinetry and millwork manufacturing operations.
You will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency across all projects. Proficiency with industry software is essential. Responsibilities
Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for cabinet and millwork production.
Read and interpret blueprints, cabinet drawings, technical files, and CAD models to ensure precise output.
Set up CNC machines, perform calibrations, and verify measurements using calipers and other hand tools.
Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently; perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
Collaborate with engineering to adjust programs for design changes, material variations, or production improvements.
Calculate accurate dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters using strong math and technical skills.
Support assembly processes when needed, including safe use of power tools or basic welding equipment.
Maintain complete documentation of programs, setups, and production runs to support quality assurance.
Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency and process optimization.
Experience & Qualifications
Proven CNC programming experience specifically in
kitchen cabinet manufacturing or custom millwork
.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, CNC milling machines, and CNC lathes.
Proficiency in CAD software, blueprint reading, and technical math.
Experience working CNC, hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and general shop equipment.
Background in quality-focused manufacturing environments; familiarity with lean principles is an asset.
Previous hands-on work involving assembly, welding, or wood machining is an advantage.
