Summary

KingCast Inc., the newest division of the StressCrete Group, is a gravity die cast (permanent mold) supplier of high-quality aluminum and zinc products.

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator

to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC Lathe machinery. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment to produce high-quality components, as well as the ability to work within our high standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

:

Runs production CNC machines per customer supplied print.

Operate CNC lathes, loading and unloading parts to be machined.

Training employees on how to run certain jobs on certain CNC Machines.

Repairing equipment to keep production moving.

Working on CAD/CAM software for setup of CNC Machines.

Operating Manual Mills and Lathes.

Guiding Apprentices to setup CNC Lathes.

Measuring parts, comparing them to print provided to them by their supervisor.

Deburring parts as needed.

Wrapping finished skids for shipping.

Maintaining a clean working environment.

Educational & Experience:

Previous experience in a machining production environment an asset.

Understanding of G-code and FANUC controls.

Experience with Mazak and Haas controls.

Machining castings.

Knowledge of 4-axis CNC Milling Machines.

Knowledge of CNC Lathe with Live Tooling.

Completed an apprenticeship program, an asset.

Fully licensed machinist, an asset.

Key Working Conditions:

Ability to work independently and operate multiple machines in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to stand for extended periods throughout the day.

Pay: $29.00-$40.00 per hour
