Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints. The CNC Lathe Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring proper tooling and fixtures are in place. Read and interpret technical drawings to determine machining specifications. Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and implement lean manufacturing practices. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding technical specifications. Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc programming is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measurement calculations and adjustments during machining processes. Experience operating milling machines is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
