Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality control standards. The CNC Lathe Operator will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing operations, utilizing advanced tools such as Fanuc controls, CAD software, and CMM machines.

Responsibilities



Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, including programming with Fanuc controls and interpreting blueprints. Perform CNC programming adjustments using CAD to optimize machining processes. Utilize hand tools and other measuring instruments to ensure parts meet strict quality specifications. Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming or mechanical failures. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing specifications. Perform quality control checks throughout the machining process to maintain high standards. Operate forklifts Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with safety standards. Assist in assembly, packaging, or warehouse tasks as required to support production flow.

Requirements



Proven experience operating CNC lathes with knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and CNC milling machines. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and use measuring tools. Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes. Experience with hand tools, basic math skills, quality control procedures, and warehouse operations. Knowledge of safety protocols related to machining environments including forklift operation if applicable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical or programming issues efficiently. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 48 per week
