to join our precision machining team. We work in a fast-paced job-shop environment producing custom hydraulic components with a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering drawings and part specifications
Verify and adjust speeds and feeds for optimal machining performance
Make offset adjustments to maintain required tolerances
Change inserts and perform basic tooling maintenance
Inspect parts using scales, calipers, micrometers, and fixed gauges
Complete inspection and production reports as required
Clean machined parts in preparation for assembly
Report tooling, setup, or quality concerns to the supervisor
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Be punctual and follow all company policies and procedures
Experience & Skills
5+ years of CNC machining experience
Strong knowledge of tooling, blueprints, and mechanical drawings
Experience operating CNC lathes
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Ability to set up CNC lathes is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
