Position Summary Technicut Tool (TCT), a CMT company, is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for our Windsor, Ontario location. If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start! *This position works either Day shift or Night shift: Day shift position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm. Night shift works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 4:30pm-2:00am. The pay range for this position is between $25.00 - $31.00/hr. depending on experience.* Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform set-ups and operate CNC multi-axis mills or lathes under supervision.
  • Perform and record first article inspections of parts.
  • We provide complex, highly toleranced machined components of various exotic materials (titanium, inconel, beryllium copper, aluminum, stainless steels) in a low volume, fully traceable manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain control of manufacturing documentation (example: Planning, drawings, sketches, specifications, set-up sheets, etc.).

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
  • High School/GED or equivalent education.
  • 5+ years\' of aerospace and defense, oil and gas, nuclear, industrial, or medical machine shop experience or a combination of work experience and vocational training is required.
  • Prior experience with measurement tools, gauges, calibration techniques, and CMM usage is required.
  • Non-destructive testing experience with magnetic particle inspection and liquid/fluorescent penetrant inspection is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English is required.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to produce precision work.
