Apply now and join our amazing team today!! *AFTERNOON SHIFT* Where does the CNC Programmer / Machinist fit in? As the CNC Programmer/Machinist, you will need to be mechanically inclined and have an aptitude for math, computers, and numbers. The CNC Programmer/Machinist will be responsible for following a set of blueprints or plans to cut or shape materials all requiring precision measurements. You will program & set-up the CNC machine to help build and repair injection moulds and peripheral equipment. You will need a good eye for detail and be comfortable working with various materials. What you can expect as our next CNC Programmer / Machinist: Program and operate CNC machine as assigned for build and repair of injection moulds and peripheral equipmentReview existing machining processes for improvement opportunities.Follows design data and work order and completes inspection record Assist CNC team leader with template optimization and department efficienciesAdditional duties as assigned Do you have what is takes to be our next CNC Programmer / Machinist? Completion of relevant apprenticeship/courses related to CNC 3-5 years of experience on 3 and/or 5-axisKnowledge & experience with FANUC and HEIDENHAIN controller an assetCNC programming, setup and operation experienceExperience using Cimatron, Siemens NX or comparable 3D programming software an assetExperience & Knowledge in mould making or tool & die with 3D programming exposure an asset.Enthusiastic and willing to learn and growRemains current with industry standards and methodologies for CNC programming & operationProficient in written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office or equivalentCapable of operating all common machine shop equipment Perks?!
