Role and Responsibilities

This position is exclusively open to students in the process of obtaining an academic degree.

Internship duration : 4 months starting September 5th 2023.

The role we are offering you:

By integrating our production team for electrical and electromechanical groups (manufacturing of printed circuits, cables and electromechanical panels), you will have the opportunity to participate in the improvement of production processes, in particular total productive maintenance (TPM) by improving control of our machine park.

Specifically, are you ready to:

  • Check for each machine of the departments the preventive maintenance to be carried out;
  • Implement operational maintenance with the teams;
  • Ensure that the maintenance team integrates the machine maintenance requirements of the departments concerned;
  • Technical support to departments, in the development and implementation of solutions to repetitive problems on production equipment;
  • Project management related to improvement projects on production equipment (design, modification of documentation, supervision of manufacturing and installation);
  • Assist teams in solving production equipment problems in order to make them more reliable and efficient;
  • Help and support other team members by participating in various jobs or activities to support the productivity of our teams.

Preferred Education

- Bachelor\'s degree in progress in mechanical engineering

Location of the internship is our Montreal camps and internship will be carried out in person.

*All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and must meet the requirements of the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP). All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.

*Please take note that if you are on a student, work or international student permit, the delays for the security background check take minimum 12 weeks.
