Job Summary


We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure that every customer has an exceptional experience.

Duties



Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of all machines. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; restock as necessary. Provide friendly and efficient service to customers while taking their orders and answering any questions they may have. Keep the work area clean and organized, including washing dishes and cleaning countertops. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills



Proficient in cash handling with strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Experience in food preparation within the food industry is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with a genuine desire to help customers find their perfect beverage choice. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

We are looking for a long-term candidate. Are you able to commit to working for at least one year? Do you live in a NW community and are you able to work closing shifts until 11:30 PM? Training is 2 weeks, Monday to Friday:
Week 1: 5 PM - Close (evenings)

Week 2: 8 AM - 2:30 PM (mornings)

The schedule is fixed and cannot be adjusted.
Are you available for both full weeks?
Candidates available for only one week will not be eligible.
