About the Opportunity

The Clinical Products Coordinator is the clinical resource person in Supply Chain. The incumbent investigates and communicates current clinical product and technology trends. Develops processes for product standardization and utilization review for medical/surgical groupings. Identifies current product requirements and standardization opportunities, Writes clinical specifications for medical/surgical tenders. Coordinates clinical product evaluations. Collaborates with key clinicians to determine clinical acceptability of products. Responsible to make researched based product recommendations that promote increased quality of care and cost effectiveness for clinical based needs. Coordinates product education and implementation. Responsible for product complaints and product recall procedures.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Undergraduate Degree in related field required
  • Minimum three (3) years of clinical practice / clinical product sales / clinical product procurement required
  • Working knowledge of med/surg products
  • Working knowledge of material management procedures
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Ability to manage product evaluations / project management
  • Working knowledge of response for product recalls & product complaints
  • Familiarization with Nova Scotia Health departments unique clinical requirements
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings with internal and external clients
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours

Long assignment, full-time position, 75 hrs bi-weekly
Beginning as soon as possible with an expected end date of March 12, 2025 (Approximately 24 months)

Compensation and Incentives

$32.98 - $38.77 Hourly
