An exciting permanent full-time, opportunity as a Clinical Manager exists for the following programs xe2x80x93 Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Care Centre (SA/DVCC) and Crossroads Refugee Clinic. This position will have day-to-day operational responsibility, reporting to the Clinical Director, Primary Care.The WCH SA/DVCC program supports the Greater Toronto catchment and surrounding areas in ensuring that all persons who are survivors of sexual assault and/or domestic violence have access to timely support and the highest quality of specialized care to address their individual health, psycho-social, and forensic needs. The program provides 24-hour care in partnership with several community organizations and is mobile to seven Emergency Departments in the Greater Toronto Area.The Crossroads Refugee Clinic at Womenxe2x80x99s College Hospital (WCH) provides comprehensive primary care services to newly arrived refugee clients for their first two years in Toronto. At the Crossroads Refugee Clinic interprofessional primary care services such as, management of chronic disease, acute issues, anxiety, and depression as well as health education and disease prevention are provided for refugee families in a manner that is culturally competent and that breaks down the barriers that currently prevent access to and provision of health care. After two years, the clinic helps patients find a primary care provider in their community and ensure a seamless transfer of care.The Clinical Manager will embrace the vision and mission of Womenxe2x80x99s College Hospital and translate this to the Health Care Team. The Clinical Manager reports to the Clinical Director of Primary Care and works with the Department Head of Primary Care and Medical Director of Care of the respective programs to implement the vision for Ambulatory care services, as well as collaborating with internal and external partners.The Clinical Manager will serve as the inspirational leader for their team(s). They will have significant experience in acute, ambulatory and/or community care. They will demonstrate an approachable leadership style that is adaptable to the internal and external changes that impact the unit. They will therefore demonstrate leadership competencies in interpersonal communication, customer service, diversity management, conflict management, human resource management, interpersonal skills, negotiation and influence, self-management, teaching others, career specific expertise and teamwork.
