The opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Clinical Director, you will provide clinical and administrative expertise and guidance to the clinical network, in relation to all operational aspects of service delivery to designated corporate clients.

You will be accountable for initiating, implementing and monitoring operational improvements and enhancements on an ongoing basis, as it pertains to service delivery expectations. You will ensure that quality assurance and compliance to organizational guidelines are maintained through regular clinical oversight of key metrics.

What you will do :
  • Lead and manage development and implementation of clinical, administrative and reporting policies and processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external corporate clients. Participate in meetings with corporate clients as required.
  • Manage and supervise assigned counselling network by adhering to clinical and administrative best practices, with respect to specific contractual standards and performance guarantees in contract with organizations.
  • Ensure high quality of counselling activities through: supervision of direct reports as well as larger clinical network, peer consultations, and auditing client files. Manage formal and informal complaints and compliments in collaboration with the Quality Assurance Team.
Who we are looking for :
  • Master's Degree in Counselling, Social Work, Indigenous Social Work or Psychology is mandatory;
  • Full membership with Nova Scotia College of Social Workers or Counselling Therapists is mandatory;
  • Minimum of five years of post-masters clinical experience;
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience;
  • Experience and knowledge of short term solution-focused counselling and/or CBT is required;
  • Experience with a diverse population and diverse presenting issues;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work with internal and external clients.
