Job Title - Clinical Manager (CM)

Remote Northern Communities in Ontario (Mooseonee, Moose Factory, Attawapiskat, Fort Albany)


Mandatory Requirements


--------------------------


Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other Health Discipline. Current member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO). Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Skills & Certifications


----------------------------


Master's degree in Nursing or Health Administration (asset). Canadian College of Health Leaders Certification (CHE) (asset). Basic Life Support (BLS for HCP or equivalent HeartSaver). Strong computer and software proficiency. Knowledge of:

+ Critical success factors in delivering inpatient and emergency care services.
+ First Nations health issues.
+ Principles and practices of supervision and performance management.
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in nursing/health services, including managing in a unionized environment. Experience in inpatient and discharge planning settings (asset). Experience in outpost nursing settings (asset). Ability to work in challenging environments with high workloads and competing demands. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as Meditech and Emerald Health Information System (asset).

Support team members in their roles and responsibilities. Manage assigned budgets and resources effectively. Oversee team performance and ensure accountability. Lead administrative initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency. Guide a practice team using a holistic approach to care. Provide supervision, mentorship, orientation, and teaching opportunities to nursing/clinical staff to align with program goals. Demonstrate leadership in inpatient care and discharge planning. Contribute to the development and implementation of inpatient policies, procedures, and care protocols. Collect, analyze, and present performance and quality improvement data, encouraging continuous improvement. Maintain productivity standards, effective time management, and prioritization of tasks. Complete documentation, statistical reporting, and administrative records accurately and on time. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards of care.
