Clinic Lead

to oversee daily operations and support a high-performing optometry clinical team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and loves coaching others to do their best work.


About the Role





As Clinic Lead, you'll be the driving force behind our clinical team -- supporting reception, pre-test, exam areas, and ensuring that our patients experience smooth, professional care from start to finish. You'll act as a liaison between team members and management, fostering communication, motivation, and accountability.



You'll work closely with our Clinical Director and Optical Lead to:


Oversee day-to-day clinic operations, scheduling, and patient flow. Lead daily huddles and weekly team meetings to align goals and keep communication open. Support staff development through training, feedback, and regular check-ins. Champion a positive team culture by modeling our values, fostering open communication, and creating an environment where everyone feels supported and motivated. Identify workflow efficiencies and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Maintain exceptional service standards and resolve patient concerns promptly and professionally. Track key performance metrics (e.g., appointment flow, capture rate, training goals). Model professionalism and positive leadership on the floor, every day.

Qualifications:




Minimum

2 years of leadership or management experience

is required

(healthcare, optical, or retail are an asset). Strong communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills. Tech-savvy and comfortable using Microsoft Office, Teams, and clinic systems. Able to balance empathy with accountability -- leading by example. Postsecondary education is an asset but not required. Reliable transportation and consistent availability.

Job Type:

Full-time (40 hours per week)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
