We are seeking a dedicated and positive Clinic Assistant who is passionate about helping others and values the importance of providing proactive and preventative health services to patients. Key Responsibilities
Physician Coordination:
- Prepare physician offices before and after patient visits
- Assist physicians with client referrals and patient follow-up
- Review patient information with physicians and update charts
- Collaborate with the support team to ensure continuity of care
- Communicate with patients confidently by phone, in-person, and electronically
Patient Screening Support:
- Set up and administer hearing screening tests for patients (no diagnostic responsibilities)
Administrative & Reception Support:
- Provide coverage for reception
- Assist with preparation of patient files and charting in electronic medical records
- Support the bookings team with patient scheduling when needed
- Provide coverage for the clinic manager during clinic hours as required
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certification (preferably in a health-related discipline)
Experience in the medical, health, or wellness field is considered an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High level of professionalism, customer service, and a positive attitude
Commitment to the values of proactive and preventative healthcare
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
