We have a new opportunity for an Client Onboarding & Maintenance Lead to join our team. This role will be based in our Toronto office.
This is a permanent full time in office position.
As our Client Onboarding & Maintenance Lead, you will work collaboratively with the entire Canadian team including Sales, Client Services and Sales Traders. The Onboarding Specialist will play a major role in maintaining the smooth operation of the Canadian office.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides on-going administrative support to the premium client management team to ensure a consistently high-quality client experience
Takes ownership of the account opening process, including reviewing all applications to ensure all aspects are complete and accurate
Ensure all account documentation is ready for processing. This includes KYC, AML, financial appropriateness, and sanctions checks
Take ownership for ensuring accurate client information is recorded in relevant internal systems in a timely manner if required
Owns the onboarding process for duplicate accounts from existing clients
Effectively deals with internal queries relating to account opening process with a focus on getting it right the first time
Provides on-going office administrative support to ensure a smooth business operations including:
Regulatory and compliance administrative support
Client service and sales trading administrative support
Finance and payments administrative support
Proactively identify opportunities to improve the internal processes and client experience
Maintain KPI and SLA targets, both individually and as a team
Escalate all issues in a timely manner to appropriate levels to ensure a consistently high level of support
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Operates with integrity and a highly client centric mindset
Demonstrates passion and enthusiasm for the financial services industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline desirable (Business, Finance, Economics etc.)
