About the Role:
The
Client Coordinator
plays a pivotal role in facilitating and supporting the coordination between Dexcent and one of our key clients. This role is essential for ensuring seamless communication, supporting the development of new scopes of work, coordinating with the supply chain process, and maintaining contractual compliance. The Client Coordinator also supports onboarding activities and communications between the client and our internal stakeholders.
Education & Experience
10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or client engagement with a strong emphasis on negotiation, vendor management, and contract development.
4 to 8+ years of experience managing a knowledge-based business (e.g., SCADA, IT, and Oil & Gas industry).
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
A background in Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, or Project Coordination is considered a strong asset.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between Dexcent and the client on T&M and project-based engagements, ensuring effective collaboration, alignment with stakeholder expectations, and opportunities to negotiate favorable terms and rates.
Perform administrative duties, including maintaining documentation, processing work replacements and change orders, supporting maintenance coordination, and managing contractual agreements such as MSAs, SOWs, compliance records, and vendor contracts.
Coordinate resource transitions and scope of work (SOW) development for technical team members, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract language.
Provide weekly updates and reviews to internal stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic alignment with financial objectives.
Facilitate client meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items with persistence and attention to detail.
Demonstrate a clear understanding of client representative roles and accountabilities to ensure effective collaboration and alignment with client expectations.
Support recruitment efforts by gathering role requirements from clients and coordinating client interviews for client-facing technical positions.
Prepare and deliver regular reports to management on the status of client agreements, project progress, and vendor performance.
Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, issues, and feedback promptly, with a focus on retention and upselling when opportunities present themselves.
Monitor client environments for potential expansions of Dexcent's services, proactively identifying areas to negotiate rate adjustments or offer added-value solutions.
Leverage data mining and analysis to uncover trends, support decision-making, and identify growth opportunities.

Proficient in CRM systems, reporting, and data mining to maintain accurate records, track performance, and identify trends.

Strong organizational and analytical skills; responsible time management and accurate reporting.
Understanding of price, margins, P&L, accounting principles, and the ability to perform business math calculations.
Knowledge of customer business environments and an understanding of the market and solutions being offered.

Consistently able to handle multiple priorities, issues, and high-stress situations while maintaining confidence and a professional demeanor.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel (nice to have).
