About the Role:



The Client Care Ambassador is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for delivering an exceptional Client, Caregiver, and Community experience.

You'll oversee care operations, support and mentor caregivers, ensure every visit meets our high standards, and play a vital role in growing our new Comox valley franchise.

This role combines care coordination, caregiving, and community engagement -- ideal for someone who's ready to make an impact, grow with the business, and build lasting relationships in the community.

What You'll Be Doing:



-Client Care Delivery

-Attend First Visits with Caregivers to ensure client needs and care plans

are met.

- Conduct supervisory visits to evaluate care quality and caregiver fit.

-Review, update, and personalize care plans to support each client's

goals.

-Monitor client outcomes, address concerns, and implement care

improvements.

Leadership

- Coach and mentor Caregivers, ensuring they have the skills and

-confidence to deliver excellent care.

-Provide training and support (e.g., ceiling lifts, catheter care, etc.).

-Foster a fun, supportive, and caring team culture that results in high

-employee satisfaction.

-Scheduling Collaboration

-Partner with the Care Services Center to manage scheduling and ensure all client visits are covered.

-Step in to assist with visits when needed to maintain client continuity and satisfaction.

Caregiving (Transitional Role)

As we build our new Comox valley franchise, the Client Care Ambassador will

also provide direct caregiving visits as needed.

Over time, as the business grows, the caregiving portion will decrease. You will remain responsible for ensuring all visits are covered, maintaining client confidence and consistency of care.

Community Engagement and Business Development:



-Build and maintain a professional referral network through consistent

relationship-building.

-Conduct weekly in-person meetings with referral partners (e.g., hospitals, clinics, senior centers).

- Plan and execute a monthly sales and marketing plan, including outreach and local events.

-Represent Nurse Next Door at community gatherings, health fairs, and

networking events.

-Promote services by distributing brochures, sharing success stories,

and connecting with local leaders.

Your goal:



Grow awareness build trust, and create partnerships that lead to

referrals and long-term relationships in the Comox valley community.

Administration:



- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for clients and

caregivers.

- Review and update care and employee files regularly.

- Track and follow up on all care-related concerns promptly and

professionally.

Availability



-Flexibility is required, including some evenings and weekends for on-

call support.

- Part-time or full-time opportunities available.

Who You'll Work With

-Reports to the Care Designer/General Manager.

-Works closely with the Care Services Center and local team members.

Key Success Metrics



-Client and Employee Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 9-10

-Consult conversion rate and business growth

-Referral source and community engagement success

Qualifications



-Education

-Nursing or Registered Care Aide (RCA) background required

-CPR and First Aid Certification

-Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Experience



-Strong computer skills; proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive,

Docs, Calendar)

-Excellent written and verbal communication

-Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills

-Experience in caregiving, leadership, or community relations is an asset

-Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (updated

every 5 years)

-Negative TB test (updated every 5 years)
