What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Director, Client and Product Growth at Simplii Financial, this role is responsible for contributing to the evolution of the Simplii Deposit and Payment products as catalysts to growth customer share of wallet and market share. The individual develops compelling, industry leading products under the Simplii brand, manages the Deposits product strategy and performance and supports the day to day management of Simplii products in addition to growing deposit balances, revenue and profitability. The influences the ongoing development and growth of the Simplii Financial franchise and it's positive contribution to the CIBC enterprise.
How you'll succeed
The growth manager will be responsible for growing the business of a key segments and products in Canada
They will represent product in all marketing communications across owned channels or paid advertising with a primary focus on:
Remittance business supporting Simplii's Global Money Transfer
Overall Deposit led project communications
Refer a friend program
Alternate payment solutions
Core responsibilities include:
Building a strong foundational understanding of the product P&L and revenue streams and client base in order to truly understand the business, our competitive offering and the overall banking industry across these segments and products
Defining and briefing the campaign channel strategy for marketing and communications
Working alongside cross-functional teams to manage campaigns with executional excellence
Building a strong foundational understanding of the product P&L and revenue streams and client base in order to better recommend future campaigns
Analyzing campaign performance and ensuring optimizations are implemented for future across paid media advertising and owned channels capabilities
Promote a continuous review and analysis of product performance and market positioning
To do this you will oversee the customer conversion funnel to determine where we can drive cross-sell, acquisition, customer retention, marketing pushes, promotions and performance
This person will work closely with cross functional partners, including product, operations, marketing, and analytics
Who you are
Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce or related field
Strong background or interest in financial services
Strong Marketing and strategic planning - experience leading campaigns from briefing to execution working with cross-functional teams
Ability to plan and coordinate several initiatives simultaneously
Strong ability to understand and interpret complex information, identify patterns and trends in new or strategic areas, and independently develop recommendations in order to respond to urgent business priorities
Strong analytical, problem-solving and influential skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills sufficient to prepare and present material to an executive audience
