Orion Health is seeking a

Client Account Specialist to

serve as the embedded, on-site connection between Orion Health and our Saskatoon based Healthcare client for their Clinical Viewer initiative. This is a high-visibility role focused on shaping, guiding, and evolving a transformative digital health platform in partnership with one of Canada's leading innovators in virtual care delivery.



The Clinical Viewer solution is a multi-modality, integrated software platform designed to give virtual clinicians seamless access to: Audio/visual virtual care equipment Radiology Information Systems (RIS) / Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) for Medical Imaging Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) Pharmacy systems Integrated scribe and ambient documentation tools Other provincial and partner health systems


The Account Specialist will work at the intersection of Orion Health's global health technology expertise and our client's vision for delivering equitable, high-quality care to remote and Indigenous communities. This individual will help ensure that Clinical Viewer solution not only meets initial requirements but also evolves over time in alignment with emerging clinical needs, advancing technologies, and the long-term vision for virtual care transformation.



The Account Specialist in working with our client and will capture, document and relay priorities, and requirements to internal Orion Health teams. The key responsibilities are as follows:

Consulting services Requirements gathering Planning and implementation Client relations


This position also helps to optimize our client's implementation experience and fulfills Orion Health's purpose - to revolutionize global healthcare so that every individual receives the perfect care for them.

Key Responsibilities



Collaborative Bridge:

Act as the primary, on-site link between Orion Health and the client, aligning priorities, fostering trust, and ensuring mutual understanding at leadership and operational levels.

Vision Alignment:

Deeply understand the client's philosophy, priorities, and healthcare delivery model to ensure the Clinical Viewer solution evolves in a way that supports the client's mission and long-term strategy.

Platform Evolution:

Identify opportunities to expand the Clinical Viewer's capabilities as the project matures, incorporating new modalities, integrations, and features that enhance clinical workflows.

Integration Strategy:

Work with the client and Orion leadership to ensure seamless integration of the Clinical Viewer with provincial and partner systems, enabling a unified digital ecosystem for virtual care.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong, ongoing relationships with clinicians, technical teams, and executives on both sides, ensuring all perspectives are represented in platform development.

Open Communication:

Provide clear, high-level communication to both organizations, distilling complex technical and clinical information into actionable insights for decision-makers.

Change Enablement:

Support the adoption and long-term sustainability of the Clinical Viewer within the client ecosystem, guiding strategies for training, workflow integration, and user feedback.

Innovation Scouting:

Monitor trends in virtual care, digital health, and healthcare interoperability, recommending strategic enhancements to maintain the Clinical Viewer's leadership position.

Qualifications



Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Experience in virtual care environments, health information systems, or clinical workflow design preferred.

Skills & Competencies



Strong understanding of healthcare IT systems and the Canadian Health IT marketplace Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to clinical and operational stakeholders and vice versa. Proven project coordination skills with a track record of meeting deadlines and managing complex deliverables. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project documentation, requirement gathering, and reporting. Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a multi-stakeholder environment. Experience in working with clients (on client sites and remotely) and as part of a delivery team. Able to independently work with other remote teams Strong understanding of clinical architecture and the ability to articulate it to clients Understanding of interoperability standards Understanding of Cloud Based solution deployments
