About the Opportunity

The Clerk is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the department in its communications with other departments and support to the nurses and medical staff. The Clerk B must be able to handle multiple demands and priorities in a busy and unpredictable environment.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Grade XII plus one year related clerical experience OR graduate of a recognized one year secretarial/business program
  • General office skills an asset
  • Computer skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm during an emergency and deal with numerous interruptions and continuous change an asset
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates problem solving and decision making skills
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
  • Successful applicants are required to provide a criminal record check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) to People Services before starting employment and assume any associated costs as a condition of employment

Hours

Permanent Part-time (80%) Position; 56 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Incentives

$20.09- $21.91 Hourly
