Find out about our purpose, values and principles here The Clerical Assistant I must exercise minimal judgment and decision making in the performance of a limited number of routine activities in accordance with specific instructions, guidelines and procedures, including: performing clerical functions of a general nature; providing support with the maintenance of electronic and paper information filing/retrieval methods, systems and/or formats; performing a limited number of routine statistical and financial processing activities of a clerical nature; proofreading, typing/word processing and inputting basic data/information; receiving and forwarding telephone and other inquiries to appropriate personnel; performing additional clerical functions, as assigned; performing cross-functional support functions; performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required. To be considered for this role, you must have significant experience in managing time and tasks within an extremely busy professional office environment, and have the ability to focus on the priorities of a rapidly changing day. You have excellent MS Office applications skills, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; superb organizational and time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively. The successful incumbent will show initiative and work well with a wide range of people throughout the organization. They will also be insightful, mature and tactful, remain calm under pressure and confident in their capability to perform well in the job and make it their own. QUALIFICATIONS
