Job Description
We\'re currently seeking a Housekeeping/Stewarding Team Leader to work at a large home accessories retail store location in Burlington. The successful candidate will be responsible to ensure the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring total cleanliness and hygiene in the store and its premises
- Taking action to ensure focus on achieving agreed goals
- Ensuring adequate stock of cleaning items, including toilet paper, liquid soap, etc.
- Lead service delivery team for each assigned project (including holding team meetings)
- Ensuring trolleys are collected from parking and adequate number of trolleys are at bay
- Working with other functions to continuously improve the shopping experience of customers
- Ensuring safety and security of customers and co- workers
- Conduct regular checks to ensure service equipment and kitchen is clean
- 2+ years of experience working in high foot traffic stores/buildings
- Experience supervising operational, janitorial and dishwashing staff
- Able to work 8-hour shifts, including evening, weekend & holidays
- Familiar with applicable health and safety legislation and codes
- Familiar with CMMS software and work order management systems
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Dental care (after 3 months)
