We are looking for an experienced

Claims Examiner

to join our team. This is an

in-office position

based in our

Saint John office

, where you will work as part of a collaborative team of Claims Examiners. In this role, you will be responsible for handling personal and commercial property and casualty claims across the Atlantic provinces, ensuring timely, fair, and customer-focused claims service.

Responsibilities



In this position you will:

Analyze and assess coverage of Personal and Commercial Property and Casualty Claims Reviewing and analyzing reports from various service providers including adjusters/experts/lawyers Reporting to and making recommendations to various Underwriters on complex claims (Domestic and Lloyds of London Underwriters) Ensuring that company claims protocols and guidelines are adhered to throughout the claims handling process including setting and maintaining loss and expense reserves Liaise with Underwriters, Brokers and other stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner

Qualifications and Characteristics



You're a good fit if you have:

5+ years of Property and Casualty Claims Adjusting/Claims Handling experience Chartered Insurance Professional designation Currently hold a Level 3 New Brunswick Adjuster's License Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong investigative and analytical skills including understanding all policy wordings Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills Able to work well independently Ability to prioritize tasks, meet various deadlines and keep organized While not required, French language skills are considered an asset.

Salary Range



The expected salary range for this position is from

$62,000 - 74,000

and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope and level.
