The Bilingual Claims Examiner - Alberta reporting to Protection Products & Mechanical Claims Manager - Alberta. The Bilingual Claims Examiner - Tire/Rim/Key/Etch is responsible for reviewing and assessing claims in relation to the specific coverages outlined in a customer's policy. This includes evaluating labor, parts, sublet work, and any additional charges to ensure they fall within the scope of the approved coverage.



Hours of Work: will be Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 5pm.

Essential Responsibilities:

Manages general incoming calls/emails/faxes and logs all claims and inquiries. Responsible for the review of tire pictures ensuring loss is coverable under the terms of the policy. Return authorizations for covered claims or respond to non-covered claims with the reason of denial. File all approved claims manually or electronically. Responsible to match all incoming invoices with backup for payment, stamp all invoices, insert the required information, calculate the amount paid including a breakdown of tax(es) and enter the claim as paid. Processing Key and Etch claims including payables of each. Weekly balancing of claim payables. Processing of aged claims authorized but never received. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or academic equivalencies is required. Automotive or dealership experience is an asset. Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required. Keyboarding/typing skills of 65+WPM (error free). Previous experience with frontline customer interaction via telephone and/or email is required. Fluent in both English and French with proven skills in verbal and written communication is required. Ability to work a rotational Saturday/Statutory holiday is required. Successful completion of a credit check, criminal background check, and employment reference checks are required before employment.
