Our valued client has an opportunity for Claims Analyst to join their team!

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is rapidly growing their team in South Edmonton. This role will include servicing personal and commercial claims. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and drive to succeed in a high performing environment!

Responsibilities:

• Providing customers with prompt service by providing advice, discussing customer concerns, including but not limited to walk-ins, emails, and phone calls
• Entering and updating clients\' information in our BMS system and spreadsheets
• Ensure eligibility for claims is reasonable and correct by analyzing claims and supporting documentation
• Responsible for analyzing claims and interpreting insurance policies
• Responsible for the review and tracking of all incident reports, and ensure to follow up for additional information where necessary
• Following up with adjusters on claims status and keeping claims handling up to date??
• Approve drivers for clients by reviewing abstracts, and by obtaining any other documentation required to verify driver information
• Keeping current with activities and workload?
• Follow branch workflows

Qualifications:

• Insurance experience is required
• Experience in insurance claims handling is preferred
• Claims Adjuster license is an asset
• General Level 1 insurance license is an asset
• Experience with Epic is an asset
• Microsoft office 365 experience is required
• Outlook experience is required
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve, critical think and be detailed oriented
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure and meet deadlines
• Able to be pro-active and work both independently and as a part of a team
• Positive and respectful attitude with both clients and co-workers
• High degree of professionalism and integrity
