As the Sustainability Claims Analyst, you will contribute to the improvement of the resilience and sustainability initiatives by researching and developing solutions to new analytical problems. You will collaborate with business partners to provide new ideas in resilience and sustainability, improving client acceptance in new initiatives.

How you will create impact:

Collecting and analyzing information from various data sources including any relevant information about resilience, sustainability, alternate material and legislation.

Defining relevant metrics to evaluate the performance of new interventions and explaining data results using simple graphs, plots, or dashboards.

Supporting Non-Actuarial Research projects, including delivering information that could be implied in predictive analytics solutions to support other resilience and sustainability teams.

Using a scientific approach, research and find solutions to new analytical problems and find new ways to do sustainable reconstruction.

Contributing to joint initiatives in all companies within The Co-operators group of companies by understanding insurance metrics, insurance databases and insurance concept and alternative materials.

You have a post-secondary degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainable Business Management, Engineering with Material Science Specialization or in related discipline.

You have working knowledge in resilience, sustainability and environmental impacts.

You have basic financial knowledge to evaluate potential cost or saving from green initiatives.

Having basic statistical knowledge and experience with programming tool is an asset.

You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
