We are currently seeking experienced

CIVIL Pipe Layers

to join our pipe crew. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to contribute to impactful projects across the Halifax Regional Municipality.

Job Responsibilities

Install underground water and sewer piping systems according to plans and specifications Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and safe worksites Spread gravel and other materials to create stable surfaces Assist with various phases of civil site servicing Operate and use tools and equipment such as drills, pneumatic hammers, saws, jackhammers, and shovels Work alongside heavy equipment operators (e.g., excavators, loaders) while maintaining awareness of site safety Perform regular equipment and site inspections Attend safety meetings and participate in on-the-job training Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and best practices

Job Requirements

Language:

English

Education:

No formal education required. Completion of high school is an asset

Experience:

Previous experience in civil construction or pipe laying is an asset Familiarity with water and sewer systems preferred Experience using hand tools and small equipment is required WHMIS, Fall Protection, or other safety training certifications are considered assets Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions Comfortable working outdoors, in trenches, and around heavy machinery Strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols
